Full Day

Lake Titicaca Full Day

We’ll start the day by picking you up at your Puno hotel around 7:00–7:15 A.M. The quiet morning air will feel refreshing as we drive to the port. We will board our boat and cruise across Puno Lake Titicaca, sitting at 3,812 meters above sea level. The early light will set a calm and beautiful tone for the day.

Our first stop will be the Uros Floating Islands. We will step onto the soft reed surface and meet friendly families living here. They will explain how they build their islands and maintain life at high altitude. We will also have the option to take a short totora boat ride if we wish.

After Uros, we will continue toward Taquile Island. The ride will cover about 30 kilometers of peaceful blue waters. We will hike slowly toward the main village at 3,950 meters above sea level. The path will offer great views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

We will stop for lunch prepared by local residents using fresh lake ingredients. The flavors will feel simple and comforting at high altitude. After lunch, we will walk around the village and see beautiful textiles made by local weavers. Their work will show bright colors and unique designs.

We will return to the port and sail back to Puno in the afternoon. The lake will shine with soft golden colors as the day ends. We will reach the city around 5:00 P.M. and finish our Lake Titicaca Full Day journey feeling relaxed and inspired.
