We will start at 08:00 A.M. from our hotel in Cusco and drive through the beautiful Sacred Valley. The scenery will include rolling hills, rivers, and traditional farming terraces. Along the way, we will stop at a local farm to meet llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas. Photos will be amazing, with mountains and fields as our backdrop.
Next, we will visit Pisac Archeological Park and explore ancient Inca terraces and temples. Our tour guide will explain the history and architecture for around two hours. Then, we will visit the Pisac market to taste local snacks and buy handmade crafts. The vibrant streets and colors will make it a memorable experience.
After Pisac, we will drive to Urubamba for a short lunch break at a local restaurant. From there, we will continue to Ollantaytambo Archeological Park. Our guides will show us the Temple of the Sun and explain how Inca engineers moved huge granite stones. The town itself is charming, with cobblestone streets and traditional shops to explore.
In the evening, we will take the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes at 19:00. The ride lasts about two hours with incredible river and mountain views. Our hotel in Aguas Calientes will be ready for check-in and a restful night. We will enjoy dinner nearby before turning in for the day.
We will wake up early at 05:00 A.M. and have breakfast at the hotel. Then, we will take the bus up to Machu Picchu for sunrise. The views will be magical, with mist over the mountains and ancient ruins. Cameras will capture every unforgettable moment.
Once at Machu Picchu, we will take a two-hour guided tour to explore temples, terraces, and plazas. Our guides will tell stories about Inca life, ceremonies, and engineering marvels.
