This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms applicable to cancellations, changes, and refunds for services booked with Lake Titicaca S.A.C.<\/strong> (hereinafter, \u201cthe Company\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By confirming a reservation, the Client agrees to the following conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. CANCELLATIONS BY THE CLIENT<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing<\/strong> via email or official communication channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refund Policy:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • More than 30 days before the tour start date:<\/strong>
    Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee<\/strong> and any non-refundable costs<\/strong> incurred (such as entrance tickets, permits, or train tickets).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 15 to 30 days before the tour start date:<\/strong>
    50% refund<\/strong> of the total tour cost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Less than 15 days before the tour start date or no-show:<\/strong>
    No refund (100% cancellation penalty).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
    \n\n\n\n

    2. NON-REFUNDABLE SERVICES<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Please note that certain services are non-refundable and non-transferable<\/strong>, regardless of the cancellation date, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Machu Picchu entrance tickets<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Inca Trail permits<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Train tickets<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Restricted-access attractions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      These policies are governed by Peruvian government authorities and third-party service providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n\n\n\n

      3. CANCELLATIONS BY LAKE TITICACA<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Lake Titicaca S.A.C. reserves the right to modify or cancel services due to force majeure<\/strong>, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • Weather conditions<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Natural disasters<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Social unrest or strikes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Road closures<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Government regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        In such cases, the Client will be offered either:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        • A rescheduled date<\/strong>, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • A full refund<\/strong> of amounts paid (excluding non-refundable third-party costs, if applicable).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
          \n\n\n\n

          4. CHANGES TO CONFIRMED BOOKINGS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          Requests to change dates, itineraries, or services are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Any changes requested less than 15 days before<\/strong> the tour start date may be treated as a cancellation, depending on the services involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n\n\n\n

          5. NO-SHOW POLICY<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          Failure to appear at the agreed meeting point, date, or time will be considered a no-show<\/strong> and will result in a 100% charge<\/strong>, with no right to refund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n\n\n\n

          6. REFUND PROCESSING<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          • Approved refunds will be processed using the same payment method<\/strong> used for the original transaction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Refund processing times may vary depending on banks or payment providers but typically take 15 to 30 business days<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            7. ACCEPTANCE OF POLICY<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
