By booking any tour or service with us, you (hereinafter, \u201cthe Client\u201d) agree to the following Terms and Conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Booking confirmation:<\/strong> A deposit of <strong>30%<\/strong> of the total tour cost is required to confirm any reservation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Remaining balance:<\/strong> The remaining <strong>70%<\/strong> must be paid no later than <strong>7 days before<\/strong> the tour start date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Last-minute bookings:<\/strong> Reservations made less than 7 days in advance must be paid <strong>100% upfront<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Payment methods:<\/strong> Bank transfer, mobile payments, or cash (subject to prior coordination).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Client is responsible for providing accurate personal information (full names, passport numbers, nationality, and date of birth) required for reservations, permits, or entrance tickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cancellations by the Client:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>More than 30 days prior:<\/strong> Full refund minus a <strong>10% administrative fee<\/strong> and any non-refundable costs (such as train or entrance tickets).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>15 to 30 days prior:<\/strong> <strong>50% refund<\/strong> of the total tour cost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Less than 15 days prior or no-show:<\/strong> <strong>No refund (100% penalty).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note: Tickets for <strong>Machu Picchu, Inca Trail, trains, or restricted attractions<\/strong> are non-refundable and non-transferable, according to regulations of the Peruvian Ministry of Culture and service providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cancellations by Lake Titicaca:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Company reserves the right to modify or cancel itineraries due to <strong>force majeure<\/strong>, including weather conditions, strikes, natural disasters, road closures, or government restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In such cases, the Client will be offered a <strong>rescheduled date or a full refund<\/strong> when the cancellation is attributable to Company operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. RESPONSIBILITY AND RISKS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Client acknowledges that adventure, trekking, and outdoor activities involve inherent risks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lake Titicaca operates under strict safety standards but shall not be held responsible for injuries, delays, loss of personal belongings, or damages resulting from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Natural events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actions of third parties<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Client\u2019s own negligence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participation is voluntary, and the Client confirms they are in adequate physical and mental condition to undertake the contracted activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. TRAVEL INSURANCE<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All Clients are <strong>strongly advised<\/strong> to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Trip cancellation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accidents and medical expenses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Emergency evacuation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Loss or damage of baggage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lake Titicaca shall not be responsible for expenses arising from accidents or lack of insurance coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. ACCLIMATIZATION AND HEALTH<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For tours at high altitude locations (such as <strong>Cusco, Lake Titicaca, Salkantay, or Rainbow Mountain<\/strong>), Clients should allow <strong>2 to 3 days<\/strong> for proper acclimatization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is the Client\u2019s sole responsibility to ensure they are in good physical condition prior to participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7. PRIVACY POLICY<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lake Titicaca guarantees the confidentiality of all personal data provided by the Client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Such information will be used exclusively for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reservation management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operational purposes related to contracted services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal data will not be shared with third parties except when required for service execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>8.
