TERMS & CONDITIONS – JUKIL DE LOS ANDES

By booking a tour with Jukil de los Andes (“we”, “our”, or “the Company”), you (“the Client”) agree that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms outlined below. If you are booking on behalf of others, you confirm you have their authorization to accept these terms on their behalf.

1. BOOKING CONFIRMATION
A booking is confirmed when you receive a written confirmation after the required deposit is received. Please review the confirmation and notify us immediately of any errors. You must be 18+ to book and must provide accurate personal and travel information.

2. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Please inform us at the time of booking about any special needs, dietary restrictions, or mobility limitations. We will do our best to accommodate them, but cannot guarantee availability due to the nature of the destinations.

3. AGE POLICY
Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult. One adult may accompany up to two minors. The accompanying adult is responsible for all legal travel documents and the well-being of minors.

4. MEDICAL CONDITIONS
All medical conditions must be disclosed at booking. Some tours may require a physician’s letter. Pregnancy over 24 weeks must be disclosed and may result in denial of participation. Failure to provide required medical information may lead to cancellation with applicable fees.

5. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is mandatory. It must cover at least USD 50,000 in medical, evacuation, and repatriation costs. We highly recommend adding coverage for cancellations, personal belongings, and delays. Insurance is not included in our tour prices.

6. PRICING, TAXES & FEES
Prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuation, government fees, or other factors. Any increase over 5% will be communicated promptly. Promotions and discounts apply only to new bookings.

7. DOCUMENTATION
You are responsible for securing valid passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and travel permits as required. We are not liable for any loss due to improper or missing documentation.

8. PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
Full payment must be made by the due date indicated. Cancellation fees:

30–17 days before departure: 80% refund
16–8 days: 50% refund
7–3 days: 20% refund
Less than 3 days: no refund
Banking and transaction fees will be deducted from refunds.

9. TOUR CANCELLATION (BY US)
Tours are guaranteed once fully paid unless affected by Force Majeure. If we cancel before departure for reasons not caused by you, you may choose a full refund or an alternative tour. We are not liable for costs like visas or non-refundable transport.

10. FLEXIBILITY & CHANGES
Travel in Bolivia may require flexibility. Itineraries may change due to weather, road conditions, or local regulations. No refunds will be given for unused services or voluntary early departure.

Changes made by you are subject to availability, administrative fees, and any additional costs incurred. No changes are allowed within 10 days of departure.

11. RISK ACCEPTANCE
Traveling in Bolivia, especially to remote or high-altitude regions like Uyuni, involves risks. You accept responsibility for these risks and waive claims against Jukil de los Andes. You agree to follow all safety instructions and local laws.

We reserve the right to terminate participation if a traveler behaves dangerously or disruptively.

12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Some services are provided by independent third parties (e.g., hotels, transportation). Their terms apply, and we are not liable for their acts, errors, or omissions.

13. LIABILITY LIMITATION
Our liability is limited to the price paid for the tour. We are not responsible for indirect losses (e.g., loss of enjoyment, missed connections). For property damage or personal items, our liability does not exceed USD 1,000. Always keep valuables secure.

14. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, pandemics, or government restrictions.
